Answers: I have a 69 and it have the switch in the rush. Is yours the same? If so in recent times unplug the back of the switch and drill the ancient one out but do not overdo it you may bore out the hole for it. You just slip the wires right onto the modern one as you remove them from the old one. EASY MONEY!!
I've have to do this a few times, and I warn you it's never straightforward.
In order of easiness:
1. catch a locksmith. One that makes key. They can normally bring back a copy or get something to turn the lock.
2. grasp a large bit and drill the switch hole larger and larger until it spins freely. This is a 70's car theif trick, but it works. It will verbs a drill bit because the tumblers are normally hardened, but it can be done.
3. remove the column and replace it next to a salvage piece. Some people in recent times do that
No matter what, they don't come out glib, but good luck, and I would really run it chronological a locksmith.
you can buy a book on it from your parts store
