I own a 2003 Olds Alero near the 2.2 Ecotech and I'm losing roughly speaking 80 miles per reservoir.?

I just have the fuel filter replaced a the fuel pump is new as resourcefully. Any ideas why? Any solutions or apt products to try such as injector cleaners? Any info would be very useful! Thanks!

Answers:    You might try keeping you right foot lighter on the accelerator pedal, thus depressing it less. Spark plugs possibly getting bad considering you've have time to wreck a fuel pump. Also air filter and common maintenance go a long way on gas mileage, regular grease changes that humane of stuff. As far as injector cleaners LUCAS makes a apt product. Good add on's that would amass you a little would be a cat-back exhaust or and air intake.
you can run some existing good fuel injection cleaner through it and ego also check the plugs in it that alone will net the mileage drop like that, also check the heavens filter if its starving for nouns it will also use more gas,i think you,ll find the problem near the loss of mileage to be tune up related on it,it usually is,good luck beside it.
