How to program a Dodge Neon Remote?

I have a 2000 neon and bought it without the door/trunk remote. I just got one and need to know how to program it for the car. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Answer:
For a customer to program a door lock fob there must be one already programed into the computer. With the key in the run position press and hold the transmitter unlock button minimum 4 seconds max 10 seconds. Then within the 4-10 second range press the transmitter lock button. A chime will be heard to indicate a successful programing. At witch time the buttons can be released. Turn the ignition off to exit programing mode. If there are no fobs programed you will need a dealer to program it, but try this first because even throw you don't have other fobs the car may still have the old ones in its memory.
