My friend 2000 Buick lesabre herald gasket entail replacement?

How big is the job? is it thorny to do? how long it would take to do replace the chief gasket.

Answers:    a trained technician could do this job within about 8 to 10 hours, i would not reccomend atemping to do this unless you enjoy done one before and own a torque wrench and pipe sealant for the bolts among other small thing which you want to do the job right, i would also reccomend doing both gaskets at one and the same time any old gm man should know how to do this for around a thousand dollars good luck
Your friend have a big problem... With the right tools and a little luck, you might procure it done in a daylight if you are a fair mechanic. While the head are off, it would be a pious idea to hold them checked for cracks and warpage.
