Answers: First thing would be to remove the stock airbox, hoses, sensors on the hoses and plastic inlet. After that, if it is a true cold nouns intake, you would need to remove the plastic splash guard inside the fender okay. Feed the CAI tube through the stock opening within the sheet metal where you took the hoary intake out. Clamp the other end of the tube to the throttle body, screw the complete thing down, and reinstall the sensors contained by their proper location (a quality CAI will enjoy bung welds for the sensors to turn in)
Now install the filter on the end of the tube, and replace the splash guard surrounded by the fender well you removed sooner.
For a short ram intake, you don't enjoy to remove the splash guard, making installation a LOT easier. Also, you don't run the risk of flooding your engine when you run your car through low water.
Why? It's not going to lend a hand it any. Just a waste of money.
