Scared. What's the worst entity that can transpire if...?

There is air within the radiator system? I replaced a top radiator hose, ran the motor for 10-12 minutes with the radiator bonnet off after topping up the overflow cistern and the radiator. I need to know if it's okay to drive my coup¨¦ now. I'm not a mechanic, basically a single mom without the $80 to spend to enjoy a mechanic do this hose thing for me...is my coup¨¦ really ok now, can I drive it? Is it a risk to me personally if within is some air contained by the system, if I didn't get every later bubble out? Will a few air bubbles blow up my coup¨¦? Seriously, I am so nervous just about this. Thanks for help...

Answers:    YOUR OK <<RELAX ,

To Be Sure it is correct you can do the following when time permit ok,,,.

1. Before you start the car for the first time of the afternoon, open the radiator boater and look inside. The anti-freeze should be up to the top or maybe in recent times a little below it (stick your fingure into the hole and if the anitfreeze goes up to your first nuckle its ok) Any lower> than look < inside of the OVERFLOW cistern. It should still be full or to the full mark.
**(Because the anti-feeze is not up to the top,, the system will verbs what it needs from the >overflow tank< when the CAP is on)**.

2. Next start the motor WITH the >Radiator Cap Off<,
and allow the engine to warm up to nomal operating temp> in the region of 15mins + until the engine is JUST getting hot.
Look at the radiator Anti-freeze during this time frame.
It should be starting to move up and down as the motor heats up & at time it should almost run out through the slit >thats ok<.

3. THIS proceedure gets adjectives of the air out of the ENGINE BLOCK when you own work done to the Cooling system.
and it ensures no nouns is still trapped once the motor is HOT.

4. Turn off the motor and replace the radiator hat. ( if needed than Top Off the overflow tank again.)

**NEVER REMOVE THE RADIATOR CAP WHEN ENGINE IS HOT** YOU CAN GET BURNED VERY BADLY**.
Depends on the severity of the bubbles. It could jump unnoticed or your vehicle could overheat as a direct result.

Until you can fix that I would advise against long trips and formulate only short trips within the vehicle if absolutely indispensable.
Only thing that can crop up is you can overheat the motor. If you ran it for 15-20 mins minus it overheating, there shouldn't be anymore nouns in it. That's the point of running it near the cap rotten, the air comes out of the system. But, if here is still more air within the system, it will overheat. I'd put the cap on and run it, conceivably take a 1-2 mile oral exam drive. You will know within 5 mins if you're driving it and there's nouns in it. What considerate of car is it? Some vehicle have a fitting you own to use to purge the system, but those ones usually dont have a rad panama.
