I want one. I like the older versions better though, for some reason..like the '91-'93.

I have a '97 Accord. I bought it three years ago with 150,000 miles on it and have done nothing but put gas in it and change the oil.. although not as often as I should change it..
It's been great so far, knock on wood.
But yes, in general, Hondas are good vehicles. Toyotas are pretty reliable as well.
Absolutely. My mom bought one brand new in 1995 and it is still going strong.
yes i've been told they are
They are excellent cars. I have many friends who have driven their honda's for 10 plus years and still going strong.
They have the highest resale value of any other car on the planet.
Honda Accord are good cars but more expensive to fix. Then engines are too hard for mechanics to work on.
The Toyota Camry are good cars too and require less maintenance work...cost less to fix too
yes they are. they last forever. i have a honda too. i race the **** out of it. ive had it for three years and nothing has gone wrong with it. hondas forever.
go for it, the japenese tend to make the most durable cars in the world, even something from the 1980's tend to work real well even now
yea Honda accords are a very reliable car they hold up well over time but the years your talking about were very prone to rust so if you are in a northern state were salt is used i would look at the newer models. (they are still rust prone but less so than the early models). if your looking for basic transportation an accord or Camry is the way to go.
I have a 2003 Accord EX. It is o.k. The a/c went out shortly after I purchased it, luckily it was under warranty, so I didn't have to pay to fix it. But after that, more problems started to appear. The door actuator had to be replaced, the cd player went out, and there this really loud clicking noise in the front, I don't even want to know how much that is going to cost to fix. So it isn't a problem free car, and it only has under 50k miles. When all the problems started to occur it had about 20k miles.
Long live the Honda! I bought by 1994 Accord Ex, leather, sunroof, etc. in 1999, and I'm about to reach 200,000 miles. NO MAJOR REPAIRS! Knock on wood!!
My husband thinks we need to get rid of it because our 2nd child is on the way, but I just can't bear to trade it.
Yes they are! But be sure to get one which was mainatined well if your plannning to buy one. See the service record.
LOVE THE ACCORD! My last car was a '91 accord, we actually still have it and it runs great. I got hit 3 times in that car, and it barely put a dent. The newer ones aren't made as well.
I'VE GOT AN ACCORD LX 2.4L iVTEC 03 MODEL. I HAVE IT FOR ABOUT AN YEAR AND HALF. WHEN I BOUGHT IT IT HAD 42K ON IT NOW IT'S ON 83K. I HAVEN'T FACE ANY DIFFICULY SITUATIONS YET. IT RUNS SMOOTH, MPG IS 21/31. I WOULDN'T REALLY SAY 21MPG ON CITY BECAUSE OF THE WAY I DRIVE (AS SOON AS THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN I HIT DA PADDLE TILL IT REACHES 55MPH) AND (MIMINUM TURN SPEED IS 20 MPH). IT'S RUNNING FINE FOR ME. SEEMS TO BE ONE OF A KIND UNLIKE MAZDA OR FORD 4CYL MODELS. IT'S CHEAP BUT IT'S GOT GOOD PERFORMANCE WITH THE LUXURY LOOK. IT'S NOT TOTALLY LUXARY BUT IT'S FAIR ENOUGH. BTW I JUST INSTALLED H.I.D. KIT ON MY LOW&HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHT. IT'S JUST WOW. HIGH BEAM SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE'S FLASH WENT OFF FROM A CAMERA...
I'D RATE IT
6/10 ON PERFORMANCE (TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT MY DISPLAY PIC FOR TOP SPEED)
5/10 ON LUXURY
8/10 ON MPG
