Bmw 750 IL 1999?

What is the purpose of a V12 engine in this sports car. Don't understand ..why did the German company place such a generous engine in this sedan next to the oil crisis they it be even in 1999..Speed? Power? or customer constraint?..Curious...

Answers:    Once you start to earn $400,000 a year you'll understand.

A V12 is the without a flaw natural entity to do for a car of that size and prestige. Mercedes and Jaguar have V12s too and Beemer has to roll near the rest of the big boys.
Most of the 7-series bmws have a bigger engine. The V12 surrounded by the 750il is no different. This car is a awfully fast vehicle and there wasn't as much of an grease crisis in 1999 as within was very soon. BMW has made adjustment to their vehicles because the different 7-series is going to be available in a hydrogen-gas engine which get very pious gas mileage for the size of the car.
