Answers: I'm curious, if I can put a generic TV cable on an AOD in my 67 Mustang, why would you have need of a specific one for your T-Bird? Seriously, didn't the early 90s T-Birds hold a front clip that looked A LOT like the Mustang? I would wonder if my secure were mortal jerked if I be you.

Also budge find a dealership willing to hunt for you that fragment... Most won't search for that element .. but some have merchant locators that can tell if any broker has it within the nation that is on this locator..
What constituent did he break? the nylon bushing? Those can be found anywheres at transmission shops.. possibly bringing the cable to the shop would give support to also...
Try transmission shops and hold those junkyards put on a locator for the part... apparently you get the run around from some people
Also you are looking for a T-Bird or Cougar (it's mercury's variation of the TBird) of that vintage...
Talking with others you should seize an idea of what years will fit as usually it will be a few years worth of t-birds that will work
I'm not as aware with the 5.0 T-birds as I am next to the 4.6 T-birds, however, if you'll go to www.tccoa.com and ask surrounded by the forums there they will hold an answer for you. There may even be someone there that have one or knows where on earth to get one.
