98 jeep cherokee,is it natural to replace front axle shafts? do I also want bearing?

Answers:    It isnt a horrible job. Make sure you enjoy the stuff to do it. If your going to have the undamaged thing apart and you hold the money....you should just replace the bearing.
its not to bad of a opening on those ,the thing that might gain you though will be having the right tools to do it next to,the axles come out fairly undemanding.but one thing i would recommend you do is draw from a good repair instruction book on it,this will help you more than anything on doing this livelihood, and a lot more repairs on it,those are suitable vehicles and one of the easiest to work on in that is,i wouldn't think you would want new bearing in it,if it isn't cause any problems right now i wouldn't replace them, worthy luck with it.
