Answers: Both the MINI Cooper and the Cooper S are both fun. The Cooper (2002-2006) is about 115 horsepower, the 2007 Cooper is 118 horsepower.
The Cooper S (2002-2006) is nearly 168 horsepower (supercharged) and the 2007 is 172 horsepower (turbocharged).
The difference is really the power as well as the suspension set ups. There are differences on the outside of the MINI's as economically (bonnet scoops, exhaust, and a few others stock rudder sizes and some colors are Cooper or Cooper S specific).
As I said before both are fun. I know I own two of them (Cooper and a JCW Cooper S).
And to the person who said "umm this this is a BMW section". MINI's are made by BMW.
If you own any questions, freshly ask :)
The S is supercharged.
