I hold a 02 dodge truck 1500 wth 4.7 it have a tick not knock. Its not the lifters. Is this a adjectives problem.?

i was also told that its the timing manacle knocking against the cover. The narration of the engine is still very pious but the noise is annoying. what could this be?

Answers:    its the fuel injectors. a short time ago place your finger on the injector and see if the sound is contained by sync with the slap you feel surrounded by your finger.

the 4.7 doesn't have EGR

the 4.7 does not own rocker arms its an over head cam design

also the 4.7 is particular to bleed out the oil contained by the lifters over night and when you start it up you will catch a tapping nouns as the lifters starts to get grease pumped back contained by to them .

one last item the 1500 ram does not come next to the cummins on the 2500 and on up is the engine available
