Answers: They make the Cayman and Cayman S along side beside the Boxster and Boxster S in Finland. There is a Porsche plant surrounded by Finland where they build them.
The 911 is made surrounded by Germany.
It doesnt matter where on earth they are made because they are built the same path with one and the same materials so the quality and reliability is impossible to tell apart.
The Porsche Cayman is a mid-engined 2-seat sports car produced by Porsche AG of Germany. First launch in the 2006 model year, the Cayman is the coupé variation of the second generation Porsche Boxster convertible. Like the Boxster, the Cayman is assembled within Finland by Valmet Automotive.
After two years of development, the first model of the coupé to be released be the Cayman S (type 987.120). Photographs and technical details be released in May of 2005, but the public unveiling did not pocket place until September (at the Frankfurt Motor Show)........
I've never seen Porsche comment on which factory produces the Cayman. The foremost factory is the Stuggart-Zuffenhausen location, along with the major headquarters. However, a number of models, including the Boxster, are produced at the Leipzig facility (a few hours North of Stuggart). Given the hulking number of shared parts (and base chasis) between the Boxster and Cayman, I'd suspect much of the construction is done surrounded by Leipzig... though final assembly may be done in Stuggart.
