I'm thinking of purchasing a 2001 or 2002 Volkswagen GTI. I heard from one purveyor that there own been problems next to the transmission for those years, between 85,000-120,000 miles. Does anyone hold any experience with this? Is this a reliable vehicle, in common? Thanks!
Answers: It really depends on how they were treated, I hold seen some clutches travel out and a few 2-3 shift issues but not many. Mostly it go down to who drove it last and how concrete they drove it
