Check the wiring going to the stern from about that nouns.. Usually it's a connnector issue (dirt/ pin fit, or pull out) But within your instance, it possibly rubbed thru on something for it to open a bit...

B pillar is where on earth drivers stricker is... C pillar is where the harness curves up and rides subsequent to the a/c unit if I remember and I found one rope got pinched here before.. D pillar is what the street light mounts to
