Im impressively upset please assistance?

I installed a automatic transmission which is a used but moral. Well when I went to flood it up with nouns some how I was human being a freaking idiot and grabbed the 10W40 grease and dumped about 1/8 of a cup a totally small amount. will this harm my tranny? I know allot of it will.

Answers:    Motor grease and trans fluid are still petroleum products. The trans fluid is a lighter viscosity then the motor grease.

You should be OK, but a visit to a local reputable shop for a trans flush and plague is probably not a bad view.

Yeah, it's probably not good. If you hold a transmission shop proximate you'll probably be safe to drive it nearby and get it flushed out. Otherwise, drop the vessel and drain it, replace the pan and fluid and after go to a shop and flush and replenish.
