i was on youtube and found a video of the exact same truck i enjoy (ford ranger) and the guy was showing a slide of his 2wd truck and his conversion of turning it into a 4wd...can u really do this and how much would it cost? ive looked adjectives over and cant find any websites so any help would be moral...thanks
Answers: Yes it can be done.
Easiest track is to put a complete 4WD frame under it. Depending on what size ranger, a Bronco II set up would work.
The total cost would be determined by what you remunerated for a donor, or the total price on all investigational parts.
Also it would depend on how much you do, and how much you have a mechanic do.
It can be done. You will want to find a donor vehicle. Honestly, it wouldn't be worth the money and effort. 4X4 ranger are easy to find for a pious price. You would be much further ahead to trade in your 2wd for a 4wd.
