I have need of lend a hand...?

I'm gettin' new sub and amp...it's 500rms...I have a 100amp alternator and a stock freestyle...should I leave it all how it is, or should I get hold of a ho alternator, or should I just get a pale top Optima battery?

Answers:    You'll be more than fine with 500watts RMS on a factory 100amp alternator.
More battery are only good for longer listen time with the car stale.
Caps are never a good idea as they just stress the alternator more -another thing it's gotta keep charged.

Do the Big3 upgrade and you'll be fine;

After the Big3, you may upgrade to a Redtop.
Hi. I would hookup the system 1st. consequently if the lights dim as the volume is up a better alternator would be the 1st thing to do. The battery is with the sole purpose as good as the system charging it. A lighning cap would also be a angelic idea for the charging system factor.
Hope it helps. They Optima battery-operated would be a good addition to comfort you out but one thing you didn't mention that I would get is a worthy cap. That will help out considerably.
