i be driving one day and my subs cut past its sell-by date. when i got home i checked the subs and amp and it looked righteous, power was on the amp and adjectives, capacitor was on...anyways, i popped the hood to find the fuse essential the battery be melted. i assumed that be the problem so i upgraded to 0 gauge electrics. after getting hooked up the subs were not coming on, we checked the wires and adjectives, everything was hooked up. they checked on another sub and it powered on. ok, very soon today i discovered that the wires on the terminal were fried so i go back to the shop and have those replaced.turned it on, no sound...turned up the sub volume and they come on suddenly.rode for 5 minutes and no problems...stopped the car....started the sports car, played low music...CUT OFF! now their not quite playing anything. any help? blown?
Answers: Sounds approaching they might be blown to me. Just to make sure, put your snout by the port on the box and tap on one of the subs to cause it slightly move. The air inside the box should smell close to fresh wood, if it does then the subs should be OK. If it doesn't smell similar to wood and stinkes then in that done for. Best of luck!
