I am contemplating between buying (2) 12" Kicker Subwoofers in Custom Kicker Box or (2) 12" JL Audio W3V3's and putting them within a ported box that i already have. I hold heard that JL's are top of the string and they are the best subs for SQ and SPL. On the Other hand, they are pretty expensive. I do not want extremly loud bass, only just something that hits tight, and hard. What is my best bet for what I should purchase. Also, the amp I will be using is a Pioneer Premier 1200 Watt Amp. Answers: Iv have many exp. next to different types of subs, and I would definitely say-so JL Audio all the agency. Kicker is the cheapest way to move about for the overall cost, but JL has the better tolerance, sound aspect and the better bang for the buck.
I own always used JL Audio subs and stand by them. I have a set of 3 10W3's with DVC within a mitsu. Eclipse and hit damn hard!! 12's will hit harder and deeper, but i own always loved 10's. I listen mostly to rock though. If you listen to rap, seize 12's, but get JL's!
