8 appraise electrical system, to a 360 watt RMS amp, powering one sub?

wattage is CEA compliant.. The wiring DOES grill up when i use it at loudish volumes. What gauge would you recommend I use?

also,

With thicker electrical system, would it increase my bass response at all? or will it nouns the same?

My amp cuts out and turns rotten when I put too much volume into it, not sure if this is the amp or the wirings fault. Cheers guys

Answers:    the flex size is fine, but you have your amp turned up too far, you want to trim the input down.
The wire ga. is fine.

Make sure you enjoy the gain set correctly and the bass boost isn't all the instrument up.

To set the gain correctly check out Sparky's for a good tutorial on how to do so...

8 guage should be fine but if you really wanna upgrade your flex then progress no bigger than 4 gauge but i wouldnt reccomend it i would in recent times stay with the 8 check your gain settings
