hermetically sealed box - more accurate bass, smooth response, requires more power to drive
ported box - more bass, requires less power to drive
bandpass box - vastly bassy, loud bass
bottom of the line. someone other has a problem next to lanzar. kicker komp is the top of the line if you are interrested.
WOW, if Kicker comps are the top of the row, they better quit making Boston , JL , Diamond Audio, Treo, Solobarics, Alpines and the like. Apparently we enjoy all be wasting our money on over priced junk!
The behind the times Lanzars were incredibly high part for the time, but like so abundant other manufacturers, they enjoy fallen to the wayside near the same ripened stuff. The new ones are equal to Audiobahn, Kenwood, Sony, Jensen and other popular signature brands. They say their subs are 1200 watts experienced but put a good 5-800 watt amp on them and they dont end long. But put that same amp one one of the Boston , JL , Diamond Audio, Treo, Solobarics, or Alpines, then you enjoy a great system that will last for years of happiness as long as you take keeping of it!
The lanzars will make nouns and sound appropriate as long as they are not overpowered or overworked, but they just dont carry out as well as the greater end products.

Look for the cone fabric and also you want a rubber subwoofer surround. Never catch paper cones.
what, never grasp paper cones? what does that enjoy to fit into the equation. paper cones be the originators. to me weekly cones have a better nouns then adjectives these other subwoofers. alot of pro sound stuff use article cones buddy. anyway to the question no i would stay away from lanzar.
