Info roughly sports car stereo systems!? speakers?

okay, i have a somewhat outmoded little car and my speakers are essentially shot. so im needing modern ones. but i know absolutely nil about what to look for. im planning on getting something much better consequently what i had, witch im guessing be just essential crappy speakers since they blew out like a week after getting the saloon. so i was looking at the circut city pattern site and i realized its not basically as simple as "speakers" theres like.. amplifiers? woofers sub woofers vent? rms? i dont even know.. so if someone could untra-simplify this stuff for me it would be much apreciated. aslo what are good speakers to gain im looking for it all to come to between 100-200 dollars

Answers:    All that stuff you mentioned is close to aftermarket stuff for car sterio.

There are subwoofers, which produce like mad of bass, which require an amplifier, the source of power to the sub. Vents are just so nouns can get contained by and out. Vented, or ported subs let nouns out but are not as crisp, closed subs arent as loud and are more crisp. Subs arent necessary, one and only for people who close to lots of boom-boom.

RMS is the term referring to how frequent watts the speaker or sub can produce. if you are looking for just speakers I would first check to see if your pave the way unit (or radio) is within good shape.

A polite head section will produce around 20 watts per channel, or 20 watts for respectively speaker. Anything above that is better.

Now regular speakers are pretty cheap, you can obtain no name stock replacements for $50, but if you want brand name, good brands for audio include MTX (mainly subs), Alpine, Kenwood, Sony, Infiniti, Bose, JBL, and JL Audio.
