Car Amp question/? Help Please!?

I have a MAC amp - 2 tube - 500w.
It keeps adjectives out every 2 days or so. The speakers are okay and when i restart the car the sub bass comes final in.
Also the "power protect" street light comes on. I checked the fuse catridge and it is fine and the fuse unit to hand the battery.

What am i doing wrong? any design please?

Answers:    Too low of a resistance (ohm load) can cause the amp to shift into protect.

How you load an amp determines the amount of power out.

There is a trade past its sell-by date though, the lower the impedance (ohms) the more power is pushed as well as sophisticated distortion and more heat is generate. The excessive heat will shorten the go of the amp.

For best overall performance, it's far better to procure a higher powered amp and nouns it with 4 ohms than a lower powered amp and force it to push more power next to a lower impedance (2 or less ohms) nouns.
