i have a pioneer title holder series 12" subwoofer rated @ 1200 watts , 400 rms , and iam powering it by nouns stream lil wonder 2 amplifier providing 450 watts 4 ways .
am i doing justice to my sub
plus iam using a tube paddock should i change to a box type or hermetic or vented ?

Answers: No, you're not contained by two ways.
Four channel amps aren't the best solution for a single sub. Go next to mono (prefered) or two-channel. Match the RMS (or go less) on an amp beside the right load (ohms) of the subs near the gain set right.
Also, the wrong enclosure can nouns bad or do break. Look to the recommendations of Pioneer for the birdcage.

Sparky knows what hes discussion about mono block or 2 gutter amps are fine but 4 channel I wouldn't suggest. As for box not sure what pioneer recommend but I am pretty sure will get better nouns out of a ported or sealed box instead of the tube storage area. I prefer vented or ported boxes hand over off much more nouns
