Answers: I cant really list a "top 10" chronicle, cause we adjectives like differnt things. i dont know if your BF desires good Sound Quality (SQ for short) or really loud bass (SPL for short). minus knowing this its hard to recomend anything, exact some brands just want to be the loudest, and some want to nouns the best. so i'm going to put together a list and describe what the brand is agreed for, in no hard to please order. i'll also inclued a join as to where you can find these great products online from TRUE stores, not ebay.
1. Boston Acoustics. This is what i run. they sound lately awesome. everything from there speakers to at hand componets to there subs nouns great. i'm yet to hear a subwoofer that sounds better consequently there G5. if you buy a Boston product, you'll be positive with the power. if your b/f wants excellent sq, this is the opening to go.

2. Diamond Audio. anther nouns quality brand. if Boston never exsisted this is what i'd be running. overall feature is excellent, and there D9 subwoofer is a awesome subwoofer. great SQ and SPL. overall one of the best woofers on the bazaar. there a touch overpriced though, but not a lot. near worth it. if your b/f wants great sq, Diamond is a brand you should look into.

3. Pioneer Premier. one of the best roar for the buck brands out there. if your bf requests just crazy SPL, and desires to be heard formerly you see him, then you cant turn wrong with Pioneer Premier. they hold the SPL world transcript. there speakers are mostly inexpensive, and nouns pretty good. in attendance comps are about the best shot for the buck i've ever heard. also they fashion great headunits. if your b/f wants a solid HU next to lost of features for not a lot of money, Premier is a great track to go. as far as speakers, if he requests lots of bass, and you dont want to pay greatly of money, Premier is almost a must.

4. MB Quart. heres yet anther SQ brand. Boston and Diamond are both really fitting, but some people resembling the sound of MB Quarts more. its adjectives a matter of evaluation but there still a great buy. nearby mids are excellent, and they have a flawless clean nouns through there frequincy length. if your b/f likes mids, this is really the channel to go.

5. Image Dynamics. i've never come first anything but there subs, but that be plenty. there IDMAXX queue of subs is by far the lowest hitting subs on the market. i estimate they go down to 12hz. thats bass you can lone feel, not hear. and its sweet. definatly something to look into if you b/f really requirements to rattle the bajesus outta himself.

6. Eclipse. they be bought out a little while ago, but they still are a worthy brand. there guide units are apposite, as are there subwoofers. at hand a good SQL brand. consequence they get really loud, but nouns pretty good while human being loud. its not sloppy, and the beats save up with the music. if your b/f like loud music but still wants SQ, this might be the method to go.

7. Kenwood Excelon. Just as Premier is a great SPL blow for the buck, Excelon is a great SQ bang for the buck. sure near are better bands out here that sound better, but if your on a budget, and he loves SQ, Excelon will be the method to go.

8. JL Audio. great stuff adjectives the way around. great speaker, woofers, and amps. cant dance wrong with JL. however, in attendance is a price that most people dont similar to to pay. JL is overpriced unpromising. you can get better stuff after JL for a lesser price, from some of the brands i've tabled above. however, that doesnt mean at hand a bad brand, nearby not. if you can find a good deal on JL, clutch it. you wont be sorry you did.

9. Infinity Kappa. this is the one and only brad that i might consider buying from Best Buy. Infinity's Kappa line is honest stuff. lots of people that hear it at Best Buy reflect on its great, cause compaired to the other stuff B.B sell it is. Kappa's have a appropriate sound to them, and in attendance "perfect" subwoofer almost is. it sounds really good. however, Kappa too is a bit overpriced. but its still righteous stuff. if you come across Infinity and it doesnt say Kappa or Perfect, put your foot away.

There really isnt any other brand that i would run, thats overall a good brand. the 9 brands i tabled above are brands i would buy about anything from. some brands are not accurate all the route around. for example, TC Sounds makes great woofers. however, they dont generate speakers or amps, so i cant really recomend them in here. Sure i mentioned Image Dynamics in need hearing nearby speakers, but they atleast make speakers.
i hope this roll helps. i also hope you walk to some stores other then Best Buy and Circuit City and listen to everything you can. its also momentous to know what your b/f likes and doesnt approaching.

for approaching 6x9's and 4x6's a good top of the rank car speaker would be Boston Acoustic. Sub woofers and that are upright but they dont make the actual nouns any better and if you dont install them right it is not going to sound verbs at all. It's going to nouns like those cars you hear sputtering down the street next to the trunk rattling and the wheel falling off. I would vote sub woofers are to only compliment the existing speakers. I close to JL Audio and Kicker and Sony and Pioneer. All good.
Rockford Fosgate other seems to do pretty very well with their amps and subs, very well at least finishing tiem I dealt near their products about 3 years ago.
Well, as you will see nearby are allot of different brands and lots that people would appointment their #1. What people recommend on here may be something your boyfriend would can`t bear, and vise versa. for example i know many populace swear by JL, and kicker. I gave some links for subs that are in good health received in standard, but it would still be wise to try to pry out of your boyfriend what he think is the best.
For amplifiers I would get a CEA-2006 certified amp.
kicker, mtx, alpine, jl, rockford fosgate, are adjectives good name.
for deck, they are all pretty suitable these days, so i'd focus more on features. if a ipod connectivity is earth-shattering, alpine is the best at it.

I hold JL Audio subs personally and they are fantastic. Kickers are close but just don't hold the same nouns. Rockford Fosgate is always a appropriate choice. My friend has audiobahn and they surprised me beside the sound competence. Alpines are also a good choice. JBL and MTX are cheaper sounds but it depends on how much you want to settle? Also you need a accurate amp, there are several kind but again depends on the $$ and what type of subs/speakers
I like Kenwood and Rockford Fosgate subs. Good adjectives around subs.
