Why do my motor speakers stop working after a few minutes of play?

2 Sony explod 4X6 speakers in front bustle and 2 Sony explod 10'' subs in the posterior powered by a 500w Sony explod amp. When I first turn my truck on they sound great but as I drive across town a few minutes into the ride they seem to be to loose power all at once, I can still hear the music highly softly. When I turn my truck off and wager on on again they start working again.

Answers:    That happens to me when I crank my speakers up too loud; even though it sounds great, the amp shuts sour on me unless I turn my system off, agree to it cool down for a minute, then take back at it.

If you similar to to play your system loud, then I would turn and ease up on the amp gain a bit and see if that helps. If not, after you might be having an issue next to your battery or alternator not anyone able to touch the massive amount of power an amp requires. And if either can't dispatch the required amount of power to the amp, the amp shuts off.
your amp is over heat... happens to mine too. Means you necessitate a bigger powered amp
