I need an amp the will afford me alot of bass, but still at a resonable price. Im still a youngster so the louder it can move about the better. I was thinking of buying the Pyle PLA2230 2-CH 3000 WATT BRIDGEABLE AMPLIFIER. and also want to append a sony xplod 1300 watt sub also? would this be a good buy? Thanks
Answers: Always dance by RMS, never max or peak.
Add up the total RMS of the subs and find a cea-2006 compliant mono trough amo that puts out close to that power at the ohm's of your subwoofer.
it depends on how many ohms the subs are and what the rms are i own 2 sony xplod 1300 watts and they run about 380 rms and i run them on a kenwood 1000 watt amp and the are loud and nouns great so i dont think you will want anything with that heaps watts
