1 Amplifer to 2 subwoofers bridgeable?

I have to 2 subwoofers next to 4 ohm impedance. I have one mono ampliefer that is to say list as 2 ohm bridgeable. What is my best bet for hooking it up to my two subs. It say it will produce 800 watts rms x1 @ 2 ohm. Will this mean it will provide 400 watts to respectively sub? Thanks for your help
