Best Way to hook up an Ipod to an 02 Lancer?

I have an 02 Lancer and I want to hook my ipod up to it. Ive used an Itrip and I return with horrible results, I want to hook it up directly somehow without using an FM transmitter. I also enjoy no Cassette player so i can't do that either.

Is your deck stock or AfterMarket? if aftermarket what net and model?

I'm guessing you don't have an aux contained by on your car deck so you enjoy limited option.

Dension sells a modern device that attaches itself between your car deck and your FM Antenna. The result is right quality Sound through FM modulation, but no interference from other FM stations because it disables the FM antenna during playback.

It may not be compatible near your deck (on the dension website, the compatibilty is not shown for this specific device)

Anyway, its called the Dension iceLink One. You can contact them to see if it will work near your deck (get the FM connector specification for you deck first).

For Now, STAY CLEAR of decks promotion iPod integration. It's the crappiest system out there. At the moment, no deck have enough memory (and CPU power) to query and hold all the playlist information for straightforward navigation. The decks only just have satisfactory memory for an audio CD. It will transport hours to navigate through your music, so if you had one, you'd entail to navigate through your music using the actually iPod scrollwheel, which defeat the purpose of the integrated navigation on the deck!

If you have broadband cellular subscription you can seize myTunesRSS. It will stream music over the web to a trellis enabled mobile phone/PDA/computer (with A2DP bluetooth). 3G Cellular broadband is nice because you can get a router at home that have a PC Card slot for a 3G receiver allowing you to share the high-speed association over your LAN (you then don't obligation two high speed subscriptions, but clear sure you get unlimited upload and download information bandwidth, or reasonable big data bandwidth). It may not be available within your area.

You would after need an A2DP bluetooth enabled saloon deck or FM kit. Dension also sell one but the compatibilty list is small. Alpine sell one for sure.

MyTunesRSS is cool to get regardless, but if you own an iPod its pointless unless you want to share music with friends. Orb from http://www.orb.com is another product similar to myTunes but transcodes adjectives media.

The cheapest choice may be to get a alien cheap car deck beside an Aux Input or a cassette player (uncommon).
