Two 12" Subs. They are rate at I believe 250W RMS is what the guy said. So 500W RMS for both. in a hermetic box and amp for $450 and installation included with no secret costs
or I can upgrade to Ported Box with bigger amp for $600
Which is best. I detestation the sound of the subwoofer when it sounds resembling the sound is trapped if you know what i connote
Answers: I listened to adjectives 6 1/2" mid speakers with my eyes closed at a nouns shop and was surprised that the Memphis sounded best,this company have come a long way....subs will nouns better in a ported box facing the backside of the car..the trapped nouns you here is subs in a hermetic box dying to breath.
If you want the most bass for the buck go near a ported box. sealed boxes waste the bass and also do not efficiently allow for cooling of the subwoofers driver.
