THEN I WIRED THEM BY THERE SELF AND BOUGHT 2 OF THESE AMPS Kenwood KAC-8103D. GOT THEM AT CRUTCHFIELD FOR 100 EACH BUT THEY WERE REFURBISHED BUT WHO CARES LIKE NEW. THOSE BABIES ARE 500 RMS AT 2 OHMS CEA 2006 RATED THEM AT THAT . THEM HOOKED MY SUBS UP TO A 2 OHM LOAD FOR THE AMP AND DID THOSE BABIES SHAKE THE HELL OUT OF MY RIDE . IF HAVE NOT BOUGHT THEM YET I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SET UP.
they should work fine. Type R is a all around accurate sub. 250w each is underpowered though. what amp are you using? What does the specs voice for continuous power handling? I would go near more power otherwise thats not going to make too much bass.
