Anybody know what this antenna is for?? gratefulness for reading
Answers: HI
actually an SOT (Sound On Top) Is commonly used if you are fitting aftermarket trappings not necessarily a hands-free (These use ISO Sot leads), antenna SOT leads will shape the factory antenna lead to ISO and after back to factory to plug into the radio, this will afterwards allow you to plug in an ipod adaptor to play through the radio on a specific drain. (Fm modulators)
What you need is (See eBay item number 110171345921)
if this does not hold the correct ends then you will entail adaptors also to convert, but i have not come across any jap cars that hold anything other than the standard antenna plug.
hope this help

Now,i may have get this slightly wrong but after doing a search
on the web it would appear that a SOT antenna is a device that
when fitted to a car will see you to use a car phone and listen
to the radio, when the phone rings the ariel switches to the phone signal and cuts out the radio.
