12 inch Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4 vs a 15 inch Kicker L5?

I'm going to upgrade my system soon and i've narrowed it down to two subs i'm looking at. I want to know between a 12 inch Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4 and a 15 inch kicker L5, which would sound better and go and get louder. The pioneer handles a 1000 watts rms, while the kicker handle 750 watts rms. But the kicker has more cone nouns. Anybody have any opinion? Also if you know of any better speakers in $150 to $180 price breadth let me know. Also the amps is a Hifonics BXi1206.

Answers:    Actually the Kicker's would do you better but I am a strong enforcer of the Alpine Type-R 1500w RMS subwoofer. They come within 10",12" and 15". http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuse...

Check all the Type-R's out. Very suitable clean bass and cheap. Don't be fooled by the price they adjectives well worth more than they are priced for!
Kicker might enjoy more cone area, however the Premier have more x-mas. not to mention it sounds better. i'd go near the Premier hands down.
