I can't see how the pilots at United would be the highest salaried since they filed for bankruptcy. All the airlines are seeking ways to dampen costs so I would not expect salaries to be going up much in the in the vicinity future. As far as the package carrier goes, oddly plenty, I think the UPS people are compensated more. Southwest isn't even close to highest paid pilots. That's why the company continues to build large profits. UPS pilots passed those at FED EX about six years ago as chief paid package haulier pilots.
