If not, how does one acquire Jet/Turbine time without the military, and how long does it give somebody a lift?
Answers: Yes regional airlines do requrire Turbine time they just want to see a first class medical, twin commercial rating and obviosly multi time. You earn your turbine time surrounded by the regionals.
Why don't you just dispatch 'em a resume? If they send you an application, steep it out and send it pay for. If they tell you "no", whip that as a, "not yet." Nobody here at Y-answers is doing the hiring anyway, so what would they know? Send your stuff to the airline itself. You might merely hit it on the day that they've lowered experience requirements.
So they detail you no this time around. Build time and send them another resume within six months. See how far it goes. Fact is, nobody's gonna hire you if you don't keep hold of lettin' 'em know that you're willing to work.
yes but you are going to involve a instrument rating. I am applying with merely multi-engine time and lot of guys from the flight school that i budge to have are within the process of being hired next to regionals. Just need to know what airline to look for. By the bearing don't go applying to any airline if you do not come upon the required minimums because they will over look you and you are wasting their time. Well hope this helps
