Answers:    I did hear something was within development about aircraft fuel, and the dangers of it ignite and/or exploding using CO2 . A cylinder of highly compressed or gooey CO2 would be installed along side any fuel tank, unusually high temperature or pilots disgression would rupture the cylinder and starve any possible fire of oygen and extinguish it in an instant. I don't suppose it would issue what the cause of the fire would own been....................
It may enjoy been Nitrogen instead of CO2, but it be one or the other..............
