Answers:    it depends what compassionate of pilot you wish to be. if you one and only wanna fly to fun or if you want it as a job. if you wanna become an airline pilot you want your PPL (private pilots licence)
Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
Must possess at least a Category 3 medical
Minimum hours required are:
Minimum of 45 hours of flight training. (Maximum of 5 hours contained by an approved simulator or flight training device)

17 hours of dual instruction.

3 hours of dual cross-country.

5 hours of instrument time. (Maximum of 3 hours in an approved simulator or flight training device)

12 hours of solo flight time

5 hours of solo cross-country. (With a flight of a minimum of 150 nautical miles (280 km) which shall include 2 full stop landing at points other than the point of departure)

40 hours of private pilot ground institution
