At flight you hold customarily 2 speed. the airspeed (like 300 kn, 340 kn) and the mach speed.?

but when does the computer change too mach speed. is nearby any specific height at which it will fly solely with mach?

Answers:    What computer?
Depends on the aircraft. What computer are you looking at? More specific information would be of use. However, some aircraft transition to mach for you, on others it's up to the pilots. Most jets show both mach and airspeed adjectives of the time, but we fly at mach speeds at higher altitudes. After a guaranteed altitude, which changes near the conditions, the airspeed no longer makes sense.
