What are the ups and downs of mortal a FA?
All help is much appreciated!!!
Answers: I really hope you pursue this work! It is the most fun, flexible career. At first, you own to deal next to reserve which means you're on-call for any 24 hours or 12 hours in which scheduling can telephone you at anytime and send you anywhere surrounded by the world. If you love spontaneity, this is perfect! The wages is so-so, but the benefits and the overall experience makes up for the wage. After you gain seniority (which is everything in this career) you can clutch as many days stale as you want or even pursue a career as a corporate flight attendant and brand better money. It really is an awesome job.
You generate your money as long as you are in the heavens.
When your not flying you make no money.
Then hours are long you, you return with breakis when there is a flight hitch ot stay over.
The bad side to it....there's no gurantee you wont' slop out of sky!
You will get to see some thoroughly interesting places and things. You will spend almost every weekend and holiday away from home working, at least until you are remarkably senior, and will make lots of money when you procure very senior. You will be dealing next to the public in a tiny claustrophobic space, and the ones that speak to you will usually be grumpy, or dependent, or both...not a good combination.
If these things give the impression of being exciting and rewarding to you, then this is the errand for you, as long as you're not afraid of flying.
Or, you might think roughly becoming a waitress or a receptionist. Both involve similar skills, and there is little traveling involved.
My cousin is a FA and she loves it! She say that it is her best career choice. She works for United and the benefits are great. She get to travel for free and lives in a great neighborhood. She lives on the affray ground of Gettysburg, so the pay is great!
