Answers: This is what I do.. its safe on the paint and give a FANTASTIC shine.
1 - Rinse off all dirt on the saloon - do not wipe it off as it will scratch. Best to use a hose or pressure washer.
2 - Wash sports car using a soapy solution. Bubbles are NOT important... it is the concentration of the solution that gives you the grime adjectives power not the amount of bubbles. I usually put the shampoo in after I have full up up the bucket and use the wash mitt to mix. Start at the top then work down. Do wheel last with a different rinse mitt than you used on the bodywork.
3 - DRY car. Use a hydrablade if you want, or do what I do and use microfibre towels. Get it bone dry.
4 - Polish car. Depending on how faded your paint is you will call for to use differing polishes. All polish removes a thin division of paint so dont polish often. I do it twice a year. T-cut is fine if your paint is faded, but it takes a (relatviely) generous amount of topcoat off so use it rarely and sparingly. I use poorboys polish as its exceptionally good, smells nice and is good convenience for money. You apply THIN layers at a time, leave it to dry to a spray and then wipe off. Easy as that.
5 - WAX - this is THE most considerable part especially after a polish as it will protect your paint. The best way to do this is to apply a super cracked layer, leave to dry and wipe rotten THEN buff up (using different cloths every time)
I wrote this in a bit of a hurry, but I think it will tender you a good idea of what to do! Take your time though as a biddable detail will take a LONG time!

Make sure you wash and dry your motor first.thin layer...use a mushy lint free rag...turn it often...consent to it dry..you can do the entire car if you want...won't make a darn bit of difference...use a lint free towel and wipe it past its sell-by date...turn the towel often. Depending on how old the paint work is, you may have to use rubbing compound first. then shift to a polish, put it on walt till it drys working around the car. when that's done, use a good plaste wax on your sports car. it will shine like a dime
wipe it on a small section at a time later buff it off when it's dried. overlap each article to ensure you get it all. if its a non metallic paint next mix in a small amount of T-Cut (about5-1)with the polish for a really deep interpret then wax the car a bit at a time for protection. Don't use body polish on the window get a glass polish and renovate clothes regularly. fine scratches in the windscreen can be buffed out beside T-Cut too. always use a diferent clth to take polish sour and use a cirular motion For best result , T-cut the whole car first of adjectives , allow it to dry till almost looks as if t-cut has gone dry , then remove near good good verbs " mutton "cloths . Then apply decent wax polish, ( Halfords will keep u rite ), and u'll be amazed at how ur vehicle will look . A bit of graft involved , allow about 3-4 hours, but well worth it .DJC.
The most big step is first thoroughly wash and dry the car, after look at your paintwork. If you have a lacquer-coated metallic paint, DON'T T-cut it.
All okay? Then be guided by the instructions on the polish container - some recommend doing the whole lot, some a bit at a time, it depends on the hard to please product. Above all, keep polish rotten the glass, rubber and black plastic trim.
