I have a 99 toyota solara, and just recently had new pads and new roters put on the front, but they are still scweeking!! is that normal???or should i go back to the place that did them????
Answer:
that happens sometimes and when it does you get some WD-40 and spray it on the rotors and that will stop the squeeking on the new pads. thats all the brake place is gonna do I garontee! but they aint gonna let you see em do it.Its a trade secret
If you bought cheap brake pads and rotors from like autozone or something, then they are going to squeak. There is nothing you can due.
dust is the main reason for breaks squeaking. It is very normal. If it sounds like metal grinding on metal, then you have a problem.
you should go back, some times the pad that is used might be made of a harder material and cause the brake to still squeak.
They didn't fix them right. Go back
If you had these done, go back and ask them to investigate it and demand satisfaction. Some brake pads are bad about squeaking. They may not have assembled them corerectly.
