My vehicle headlights are yellowed and dingy looking. Is at hand anything I can use to verbs them?

I have a Kia Sportage and I see others approaching mine. What can I put on the headlights to make them look better?

Answers:    Meguiar's Plastix... used to be call Mirror Glaze plastic polish. This is what GOD uses on his classic cars to remove yellowing, restores lenses to like-new condition. Try it, you'll love it!
you can buff them with a buffing helm but that are plastic lenses so they fade over time. if that doesn't work you might want to get aftermarket headlights
here's a cheap fix...walk to medicine cabinet verbs out the crest or similar toothpaste put on damp duster...use wax on wax off motion...cleans it right stale...buff with dry duster...
Dear Sportage-

First lets start next to the bad report.

If the lenses are already discolored they have already be damaged. They will stipulation to be replaced. AFTER you have replaced them, afterwards you need to continually use the Meguires Plastix resembling the other person mentioned.

The vanishing and discoloration is due to the use of Dishwashing Detergent being used as a carwash soap. This detergent cause the plastic lenses to dry out and become vulnerable to the sun's UV radiation.

This unhappily also does damage to the rest of the paint on your motor too. I suggest that you immediately discontinue this practice and purchase a Car Wash Soap from your local automotive store. I instinctively like Blue Coral, but its is complex to find, so any of the soaps that they sell will work only fine. I like the clean and wax soaps that do two functions at the same time.

After your motor wash, next you need to completely dry the vehicle and apply the Plastix to the lenses of the vehicle. This includes the tail lights too. They are made from alike material and want the same meticulousness, they are just colored red.

Be sure to enjoy the car wax annually either by yourself or have it professionally done is perfectly fine.

I hope that help you out! Good Luck!
There is clear polish that people use on their scrached eye goggles, you might try using that same thing on your headlights it could work, it works on specs!
