i drive a 1991 chevy lumina. it only have about 38000 miles on it. i get it last year surrounded by august, and around this time last year, i notice that when i would stop at a stop sign or light and took my foot stale of the brake, it wouldn't idle forward. and next when i would put my foot on the accelerator, it would hesitate a bit, and after all of a sudden lurch forward. at this point contained by time, my engine light would turn on every time i drove my motor, after driving it for about four minutes or so, and it would stay on until i shut the coup¨¦ off. my dad took a look at it, said that he connected a line (other than that, i have no view what he did), and it was fine. in a minute i'm having matching problem again, only this time my engine insubstantial is not on. does anyone have any accepted wisdom as to what this could be? is this a problem that can be easily fixed? and please don't suggest that i be in motion to autozone to get it checked for free because i tried that ending time and my car is too feeble for them to check.
Answers: When was the ending time you had a serious tune-up? Plus it sounds resembling it's your Timer. But gasoline that is mixed beside water does unpardonable things to your car. I well-educated that the hard instrument. Plus if you don't keep grease in it, you'll burn your motor out. I close to to get contained by my car and step on the gas and dance. NOT!!
That's not the way it works. Your saloon is your baby. And it doesn't business how old your motor is. It needs to be checked out. Hopefully it's something simple.
