Hi, I took my car to own the transmission grease change. Before the color of the nouns fluid was a feathery brown. Now after being changed, it have the same color. I really thought I be going to see a big difference in colors. What happen? Am I missing something? What kind of red should the grease be? If is new shouldn't it be red? My is brown. My vehicle is a Hyundai Elantra gt 2003.. if that has anything to do beside it. Anyway, hope someone can help me. Thanks
Answers: If you didn't achieve it flushed with a device, that would explain it. Just a drain and fill get less than partly the fluid out hence the color not changing. I suggest getting it flushed beside a machine where on earth that gets 99 percent of the ripened fluid out, usually costs around 100 bucks for this good luck.
There is a difference between a fluid/filter modification and a flush. A flush could take as much as 20L of fluid to remove adjectives contaminates. A change could be as little as 4L.
