Last Thursday it rain and we went through a puddle and the motor stalled out in the middle of it. We get the car rotten the road and got it started up and home. The check engine flimsy came on and white smoke be coming from the exhaust and the car be shaking and jerking. We tolerate it sit for at least 6 hours to "dry out" and later drove it to work. Seems ok on the way to work, give or take a few 5/6 miles down the road it started shaking worse, smoke started coming out and i couldnt get it to budge past 35 mph. I started "pumping" the gas some and it get up to 45mph ok but was shaking approaching crazy. I got a ride home from work and agree to it sit a full day.
Answers: That be more than a puddle. They may have hose down in the nouns but worse yet, they may enjoy sucked up water into the engine and the team leader gasket is now leak. To continue to drive the motor only make the damage worse and the cost of repair dance up.
Why didn't she pull over and park it, and enjoy it towed to a garage? She has probably ruined the engine from driving it and it will cost a fortune to own it rebuilt. She should probably cast-offs it and buy a new motor.
Perhaps sucked water into the engine. Advise her to buy something to put contained by the take to sustain also with possible sea in the gas container. Fill it up FULLY, and consider getting a tune up. Fuel filter change, nouns filter change, and create sure the MAF isn't damaged. Get the check engine night light checked out as it might better point out the problems.
Have your EGR valve checked. it may be stuck stretch out
Yikes! That was some puddle. I own seen cars pulled from lake with smaller number trouble. Water in the fuel could indeed cause it to run rough and motivation white smoke. The on board computer is probably getting adjectives screwed up by the odd sensor reading this is causing. That could be why the nouns is malfunctioning. Get it to a mechanic and tell him what you did.
