Power window failure?

Question:
So, the driver's side window on my car decided to stop working. I can manually pull it up most of the way but of course doesn't stay up. Is there an easy way to fix this? I doubt the motor is out

Answer:
If you can find yesterdays newspaper, March 4, that has "Click and Clack" column it will tell you all about it.

They may have a website with the column, but I've never checked.
Most likely the window regulator is off track. If you know anyone with a small amount of car knowledge they can replace it. Call a local dismantler specific to your car and you will probably find a used one for a considerable amount less than a new one.
