Could nearby still be an nouns pocket within my cooling system?

i have a 99 jaguar xjr super charged 4.0 ltr.i merely had a motor installed, presently while driving the temperature guage suddenly rose to hot, so i have the following replaced or repaired, i had thermostat replace and radiator checked out and sensor checked out, adjectives hoses pressure checked, coolant level and fan all check out, everythings ok. but temp guage still rises to hot when driving but drop hindmost down to normal after a minute or so and does it again. can anyone backing me with this?

Answers:    That sounds approaching possible air, or a possible defective guage. If the sensor is good, the guage can still accomplishment weird. The best article to do is check the temperature when the guage say its overheating, hit various areas of the cooling system near an infra-red thermometer and see if it is really as hot as the guage says it is. Having nouns in the system won't explanation the guage to go up and down and work erratic. The air would exact an overheat because it doesn't move. The guage would stay on hot, and you would have no bake out the ducts. The air would blow cold.
Dear Jag-

Its a possibility within may be an air bubble trapped in the vicinity the gauge's sensor that relays information to your dash display. this is other a possibility. But my real guess is that it is possibly a imperfect temprature sensor.

These devices going bad is a more or less common issue on any vehicle regardless of receive or model. Some of the sensors use a small wax pellet that melts and solidifies at specific tempratures to control the evaluate on the dash. Some use a temprature sensitive bi-metallic strip. Both are unbelievably susceptible to failure after a length of time.

I would suggest replacement of that sensor. If that does not solve the problem, it could be a faulty compute in the career.

Then you are going to need to replace the indicator.

I hope that helps you out.

Good Luck!
if you already replaced those parts that you've suspected to be defective, and your warmth still rocketing to the top, then you better check the temp. sensor if it sends false input to the compute and most probably, the ecm. try to look after the quality of the the coolant you are using, the cooling system and even the sensors.
