M.O.T & Servicing...?

I have have my car endorse the M.O.T test, it have passed but it hasn't been serviced since 3 years ago, though it's lone done 8k miles from this time! Considering the fact it flew through M.O.T and it's just done 8k miles, is it worth the money to get it serviced?

Answers:    middle-of-the-road guide is to have most cars serviced every 12 months or "X" miles "X" one manufacturers advise amount usually between 9-12K miles, So if you have one and only covered 3k miles it means it's best to go and get it serviced. So many componants can be artificial by the lack of servicing. Just because it pass an MOT, doesn't mean it's surrounded by great condition.
On a scale of 1-10 and 1 mortal a scrap saloon and 10 being a alien car an MOT comes surrounded by at between 2-3.
There is so much connected to the service so be advised to return with it serviced.
By the sounds of it your here in GB so any Arnold Clark will transport out a service replacing oil and filter spark plugs and nouns filter and checking all service items for around lb70, so to a point its worth it for peace of mind.
Cheers

Andy
Most cars are covered for adjectives tuneup and smog/emissions for 50,000 miles you should not need any emission work for that long.
get it serviced man of late cause a motor passes mot that dont emanthe engine is running virtuous badly serviced cars is wot finishes them rotten
Yes, it certainly is. A lot of components deteriorate next to age as well as mileage and a service is a polite time for any potential problems to be noticed previously they become serious.
yes or at least the the grease and oil filter changed
It might nouns daft, but cars that do less mileage entail servicing more than higher mileage counterparts! The root is, with shorter trips, the engine doesn't gain up to operating temperature, grease circulation is more sluggish and generally doesn't gain the chance to "blow the cobwebs out". Sure catch it serviced. As a passing thought, if You are doing smaller quantity than 8k/year, have You considered a controlled mileage insurance policy?
