It shouldn't cost much at all. The gasket itself is probably $15 tops, and the valve cover is right on top of the engine. It's very easy to do yourself and only takes minutes. If you have a shop do it, $50 at the most.

it depends on the shops labor rate, the parts price, and what the flat rate manual says it will cost (in hours). but it wouldnt surprise me if it came in at just under 200 dollars.

I've replaced a few myself and the gasket only cost $15-$20 and it only took a few minutes to put in. Normally you don't have to worry about these leaks, unless you are actually dripping a lot of oil on the ground. They are kind of like a head wound...really messy, but not much is lost.
